Renewable Energy

We are passionate about renewable energy and have invested a lot of time in gaining expert knowledge and experience in installing and servicing both air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps.

We will work with you to advise you on the best solution for your property but you can gain basic knowledge by reading our brief advice below.

Air Source
Heat Pumps

The main advantage of an air source heat pump over a ground source heat pump is that they have a lower installation cost.

Air source heat pumps extract the heat directly from the outside air and so they avoid any potential installation problems which we may come across when installing a ground source system.

The heat pump can be installed either inside or outside your property.

Ground Source
Heat Pumps

A ground source heat pump extracts heat from the ground via a network of coils installed under the ground.

They tend to be more expensive to install compared to air source heat pumps.

The heat pump is installed inside your property where it is protected against the risk of frost.
